Situación del comercio on-line en España
Actualmente, el comercio electrónico se extiende a más de la mitad de las compañías con más de 50 empleados en España. Un dato que contrasta con las pymes, que carecen de canales optimizados para este y no disponen de capacidad para hacer estudios de mercado ni para organizar canales a costes asumibles.
Según datos del INE, en 2012 un 14,4% de las empresas españolas realizaron ventas a través de e-commerce por un valor de 183.109,70 millones de euros, incluyendo transacciones a través de EDI, lo que representa un 14% de las ventas totales.
El segmento B2C creció un 17% en 2012 y los sectores más activos han sido los de confección y calzado, electrónica e informática y el de información. Las 10 primeras empresas concentran el 22,5% de facturación y según ‘Forrester’ el crecimiento anual estimado hasta 2017 es del 18%.
Durante el segundo semestre de 2013 el volumen de ventas ha sido de 3.183 millones, lo que supone un 20,6% más que en el mismo período del año anterior.
La logística asociada al comercio on-line tiene una evolución muy positiva, destacando el crecimiento de facturación que se ha mantenido en el 7-8% en los últimos tres años, con un volumen de negocio que en 2012 ascendió a 10.455 millones de euros y a más de 150 millones de transacciones.
Una logística cuyo modelo es de logística unitaria, frente al de logística masiva, con unos envíos con un precio medio bajo, que tiene la dificultad añadida de tratar con clientes esporádicos, desconocidos y dispersos geográficamente. Además, se trata de una logística no planificada, que depende del cliente final, en el que se pasa de pedidos estándar basados en grandes pedidos, a pedidos personalizados, basados en esquemas de tipo paquetería.
La elección de un socio logístico de confianza es fundamental para las empresas de nueva creación que se lanzan al mundo on-line, y por supuesto para las consagradas, pues la empresa de transportes es la imagen final del cliente y quien tiene la llave para conseguir la satisfacción total, tanto del comprador como del vendedor.
